eWIT CC Hub is the footprint project of eWIT Trivandrum Chapter, where the team has piloted a child care facility as a social inclusion project under Public Private Partnership.
Sponsorship from companies like Allianz, IBS, Quest, UST and Baby Shop to set up the facility helped kick start the project in 2014 and the facility is operational from March 2015 as a self-sustainable model with infrastructure support from Technopark and operational support from skilled and trained resources under Kudumbashree MEU [Micro Enterprising Unit].
One of the focus areas of eWIT for the year 2018 is upskilling of women employees. The objective is to support women to step up in their career and empower them with the right tools and techniques. EWIT also envisions bringing together SMEs or technical experts in a pool so as to be available to anyone seeking information or support on specific topics.
